It's a family affair as four School of Drama alums take to the stage this month in ACT Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol. You can catch Justin Alley (BA '04) as Bob Cratchit, Kurt Beattie as Scrooge, Robert Bergin (PATP '12) as Middle Scrooge, and Jocelyn Maher (BA '13) as Mrs. Fezziwig.

We are also so proud to be able to congratulate director Desdemona Chiang (MFA '09) on the successful run of two shows at ACT's Central Heating Lab in November. Red Light Winter and 25 Saints were produced by Seattle theatre company Azeotrope, founded by Chiang and fellow UW alum Richard Nguyen Sloniker, PATP '09. Sloniker also starred in both shows alongside James Lapan, PATP '89.

Our alums are also enjoying great success beyond Seattle. Monique Robinson, PATP '12, was just cast for the 2014 season of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Tony nominee Linda Emond, PATP '86, was just cast in the new Broadway production of Cabaret. And Ron Simons, PATP '01, has added another producing credit to his success with A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder.
